Certified Peer Specialist / Supervisor Trainings

The Recovery Opportunity Center/RI has posted their Certified Peer Specialist and Supervisor trainings for 2015.

The first Certified Peer Specialist Training will be held January 5-16, 2015  at Philhaven in Lebanon, PA and the first Supervisor training will be held January 20-21, 2015 at Philhaven in Lebanon, PA.

The Advocacy Alliance is Seeking NURSE/EDUCATOR (FULL TIME) in Our Hershey Office


We are seeking registered nurses to join our Health Care Quality Unit (HCQU) in our office in Hershey. The HCQU is designed to assure that individuals who have developmental disabilities (DD) are as physically and behaviorally healthy as they can be.

Educational/Professional Requirements:

  • R.N. with an unrestricted Pennsylvania License.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Experience with individuals who have DD preferred.

General Description:

  • Monday through Friday.
  • No Holidays or Weekends.
  • Single destination travel.
  • Perform assessments of the physical and behavioral health of individuals who have DD.
  • Develop and/or deliver education programs.
  • Collaborate with DD service providers and other physical and behavioral health care providers.
  • Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

  • Ability to budget monthly income benefits for a specified caseload of individuals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
