We are seeking a registered nurse to join our Health Care Quality Unit (HCQU) in our in Allentown location serving Lehigh and Surrounding Counties. The HCQU is designed to assure that individuals who have intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) are as physically and behaviorally healthy as they can be.

Educational/Professional Requirements:

  • R.N. with an unrestricted Pennsylvania License.
  • Experience with individuals who have IDD preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Behavioral health experience preferred.

General Description:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
  • No Holidays or Weekends.
  • Control over your schedule.
  • Utilize an assessment tool (Consumer Data Collection Tool (CDC)) to assess the physical and behavioral health of individuals who have IDD.
  • Deliver education programs.
  • Collaborate with IDD service providers and other physical and behavioral health care providers.

Wolf Administration Taking Lead on Health Enrollment after Trump Administration Cutbacks


Governor Wolf’s office has issued an important press release regarding Healthcare enrollment. Please read on for more details.

Members of the Wolf Administration, including Pennsylvania Insurance Department Acting Commissioner Jessica Altman, Department of Human Services Acting Secretary Teresa Miller, and Department of Aging Secretary Teresa Osborne will be joined by the Pennsylvania Health Access Network to offer enrollment assistance for individuals eligible for Medicare, plans through the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medical Assistance, and CHIP at the KING Community Center in Harrisburg from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
